Kuno National Park: Cheetah “Asha” who escaped from Kuno was rescued, feared to enter UP. Asha came out of Kuno National Park on may 19, spend 15 days in Madhav National Park

Forest officer told, how hope came under control

8 Leopards are present in Kuno National Park, 6 more will be released

In Kuno National Park, eight cheetahs have been released into the wild while 10 cheetahs including a cub are present in the enclosure. Six more cheetahs will be released in the coming months.

Significantaly, on September 17 Last year, Prime Minister Narendra Modi released the first batch of eight cheetahs from namibia to Kuno National Park as part of an effort to revive the population of the species in INDIA.
